Scope. This CID describes an electrically powered aircraft tawing unit. The unit
2、 is designed to tow/steer a single aircraft by one person in a walking position. This equipment is intended to be used far moving and positioning the F-i6 ai r cr af t. Salient characteristics. i. PHYSICAL a. Size.The aircraft mover will be of the fallowing dimensions, excluding the steering lever.
3、Lengthi 7 feet minimum, 9 feet maximum. Height: 3 feet minimum, 4 1/2 feet maximum. Width: 2 1/2 feet minimum, 4 feet maximum. b. Weight. The complete unit shall weigh between 80 and laifl lbs. 4、emental AF Drawing 7545352. d. Identification. (1) Plates. (a) Warnings, cautions, or restrictions for safe operation shall be identified in the color red. (b) Make, model, serial number, manufacturers name and address, rated load, and gross weight shall be identified in the color blue or black. (e)
5、 An instruction placard on each control panel shall be installed. (2) Stencils. The following information shall be stenciled in the color black: Fluid types near fill points, tire pressure near air fill points, maximum towing speed on a visible area on the aircraft mover, nominal voltage rating of b

10、r will be connected to the nose landing gear and will cause no alterations/damages to any section(6) of the aircraft. 3, Function/performance. lhe average towing speed of the aircraft mover while towing an unloaded (i.e. without fuel) aircraft on a level surface with an incline/decline range of 0 to
11、 i21.S degrees shall be 1-1/4 mph. It shall have variable speed, will properly operate and perform its, intended use without battery re-charging for a minimum of 40 minutes, and it must be capable of turning 15 degrees from either side of its longitudinal axis. For transportation purposes, the steer
