FEQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material.-Mate
7、rials and parts shall be in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Inert charge assemblies.-The inert charge assemblies shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (dwg.) 8886602 and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications. neither end shall pene
8、trate the outer layer of paper. and finished in a thorough, workmanllke manner. They shall be free of burrs, sharp edges, surface defects, dirt, grease, rust, corrosion products, and other foreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any part nor shall the parts be contaminated
9、 by the cleaning agent. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 General quality assurance provisions.-Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance o
11、f all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspe
12、ctions are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Reference shall be made to Standard MIL-STD-109 in order to define terms used herein. The provisions of Specification NL-A-2550 shall apply. 4.1.1 Contractor quality assurance system.-The contractor shall
13、 provide and maintain an effective quality assurance system in compliance with the requirements of Specification MIL-1-45208. The contractors quality assurance system shall contain a procedure for the reporting of critical defectives found during the course of his Inspection and during inspection by
14、 the Government. Any critical defect encountered, unless annotated by an asterisk (*) to the right of the characteristic code number (see 6.2), will be reported within 48 hours. critical defects annotated by an asterisk will be furnished. The agencies to whom the reports will be furnished are identi
15、fied in paragraph 6.5. The reports shall contain, as a minimum, the following infomaation: A monthly sununary report covering those a. Contractor and contract number. b. Number and revision date of specification. c. Characteristlc code number. d. Lot or serial number. e. Number of defectives found.
16、f. g. Corrective action taken or recommended. When the Assignable cause or analysis of occurrence. corrective action ks beyond the control of the contractor or the scope of the contract, the report shall contain the contractors recommendation to the Government. 4.1.2 Submission of product.-At the ti
