8、nents. 3,1,1 Materials. All materials cited on TDFL-1.5-U-22 shall conform to the specifications listed thereon or to the specific characteristics set forth on the drawings. 3J.2 Components, All components of the canisters shall conform to the specifications and drawings listed on TDPL-15-ll-22. 3.2
9、 AssembQ. The body and body assembly shall be in accordance with Drawings c15-li-28 and ci5-11-27. 3.3 Welds, The body assembly shall not contain more than three separated projections when tested as specified in 4.4.4,i. 3.4 Prepraduction, Prior to the start of regular production, a pre- production
10、lot shall be produced in accordance with this specification for xamination and test (see 4.3). 3.5 Workmanship. The components shall be free from contamination (foreign matter, oil or grease) ad damage such as dents, cracks or deformation which could affect their intended use. 2 Provided by IHSNot f

Unless otherwise specified in the con- tract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the perfo
12、rmance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. specified in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance 0.f the inspection require- ments specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Govern- ment reserves the rig
13、ht to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary- to assure sup- plies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.2 Additional responsibility of supplier . Drawings for contractor Except as otherwise designed inspection equipme
14、nt (other than standard measuring equipment) should be forwarded to design agency for approval prior to production (see 6.2) . Ammunition data cards prepared in accordance with MIL-STD- shall be forwarded with each lo of components. 4.1.3 Government responsibility. a. “he Government will be responsi

The supplier shall provide objective evidence acceptable to the
17、 contracting officer that the requirements of 3.3. and section 5 for which specific inspection has not been provided in this speci- fication have been satisfied, provided to the contracting officer as proof of compliance of the material specified for the metal components . 19、duction inspection. 4.3.1 E. A preproduction lot of 500 sets of components (body assemblies, closing disks, packing disks, and zinc sleeves) shall be manufactured using the same methods, materials, equipment, and processes as will be used during regular production. 4.3.2 Sampling. 4.3.2.1 For examin
20、ation. Components sufficient to assemble 50 canisters shall be taken at random from the preproduction lot. In addition, five each of the body (Drawing Ci5-ii-28), tube (flat development) and tube, formed (Drawing CE-11-29) shall be selected at random from the preproduction quant i ty . 4.3,2.2 For d
21、estructive tests b (a) Body assembly. Ten body assemblies (Drawing C15-11-27) shall be taken at random from the preproduction lot, (b) Body. Five bodies (Drawing Cl5-11-28) shall be taken at random from the preproduction lot for testing by the Government (see 4.1.3a). 4.3.3 Inspection procedure. 4.3
22、.3.1 For examination. The sample components shall be examined in accordance with the clascification of defects (4.4.3.3) and MIL-STD-105.
