Material and Manufacture4.1 MaterialAny material may be used which whenmelted will produce an alloy of the required chemical compo-sition and mechanical requirements.4.2 Manufacture:4.2.1 Any manufacturing process may be

34、used that willyield ingot of uniform composition that is free of defects of anature that would render the ingot unsuitable for remelting.4.2.2 Each heat or lot of ingot shall maintain heat identifi-cation numbers.5. Workmanship, Finish and Appearance5.1 The ingots shall have the surface specified in

35、 thepurchase order (3.2.6).6. Chemical Composition6.1 The ingot shall conform to the requirements given inTable 4 or Table 5 for the specified alloy.
