14、ates16.1.1 Woven wire plaster base shall be fabricated to provide the size of openings in accordance with Table 1, except that anysingle opening shall be not more than 3.0 in.2 (1935.5 mm2).6.1.2 Wire diameter for opening size shall be in accordance with Table 1.6.2 Diameter tolerance for galvanized
15、 wire shall be in accordance with Specification A641/A641M.6.3 The wire shall be zinc-coated (galvanized) in accordance with Specification A641/A641M.6.4 Weight for woven wire plaster base shall be in accordance with Table 1.6.5 When included as part of the woven wire plaster base, factory fabricate
16、d stiffener wires shall have a diameter not less thanthat specified in Table 1 and shall be continuous, parallel to the long dimension of the plaster base, and shall occur at not morethan 6-in. (154.4-mm) intervals.6.6 Factory fabricated crimps for self-furring woven wire plaster base shall provide
17、a nominal 14-in. (6.4-mm) separationbetween the back plane of the plaster base and the surface of solid backing to permit embedment in both directions.6.7 Width of woven wire plaster base shall be not less than 36 in. (914 mm).6.8 Length of woven wire plaster base shall be in accordance with Table 2
18、.7. Inspection7.1 Inspection of the material shall be agreed upon between the purchaser and the producer or supplier as part of the purchaseagreement.8. Rejection and Rehearing8.1 Material that fails to conform to the requirements of this specification shall be reported to the producer or supplier p
19、romptlyand in writing. The notice of rejection shall contain a statement documenting how the product has failed to conform to therequirements of the specification.9. Certification9.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract, the producer or supplier shall furnish a report certifying that at
20、the timeof shipment, the materials were in compliance with the requirements of this specification.10. Packaging and Package Marking10.1 PackagingWoven wire plaster base shall be packaged in bundles, rolls or pallets.10.2 MarkingWhen shipped for sale or resale, the Unless otherwise required by the pu
21、rchase agreement, lath shall havelegibly marked thereon the following: the product description; the name of the producer or the supplier and the brand anddescription of the contents shall be legibly marked on each pallet, bundle or roll. The quantity for bundles shall be square yardsand number of sh

The quantity for pallets, bundles or rolls shall indicate the mesh-opening size and wirethickness.manufacturer or distributor, country of origin and contact information; the brand name (if any); and the ASTMdesignation for the product.10.2.1 Each bundle or roll of lath with no backin
23、g shall be marked with metal or paper tags securely attached to the bundlesor with metal tags, paper tags, plastic or metal banding or paper wrapping on rolls.10.2.2 Each flat sheet and roll of lath with backing shall be marked on the backing material.10.2.3 The quantity for flat sheet bundles shall
24、 be square yards and number of sheets per bundle marked with metal or papertags on the pallet or bundle.
