1、Designation: D 4116 01Standard Performance Specification forWomens and Girls Knitted and Woven Corset-Girdle-Combination Fabrics1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 4116; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revi

2、sion, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Significance and Use5.1 Upon agreement between the purchaser and the supplier, fabrics intended for this end use should meet all the require-ments listed in Table 1 of this specification.5.2 It is recognized that for purpos

Therefore, one or more of therequirements listed in Table 1 may be modified upon agree-ment between the purchaser and the supplier

19、.5.2.1 In such cases, any references to the specification shallspecify that: “This fabric meets ASTM Specification D 4116except for the following characteristic(s).”5.3 Where no prepurchase agreement has been reachedbetween the purchaser and the supplier, and in case ofcontroversy, the requirements

20、listed in Table 1 are intended tobe used as a guide only. As noted in 5.2, ultimate consumerdemands dictate varying performance parameters for anyparticular style of fabric.5.4 The uses and significance of particular properties andmethods are discussed in the appropriate sections of thespecified met
