1、Designation: F1447 18 An American National StandardStandard Specification forHelmets Used in Recreational Bicycling or Roller Skating1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F1447; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of

2、revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers performance requirements forhelmets manufactured for use by recreation

3、al bicyclists orroller skaters. This specification recognizes the desirability oflightweight construction and ventilation; however, it is aperformance standard and is not intended to restrict design.1.2 All testing and requirements of this specification shallbe in accordance with Test Methods F1446,

4、 except where notedherein.1.3 Partial utilization of this specification is prohibited. Anystatement of compliance with this specification shall be acertification that the product meets all of the requirements ofthe specification in its entirety. A product that fails to meet anyone of the requirement
