1、Designation: F1450 10Standard Test Methods forHollow Metal Swinging Door Assemblies for Detention andCorrectional Facilities1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F1450; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision,

2、 the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 These test methods cover requirements for mechanicaltests, simulated service test, and testing equipment

3、for deter-mining the performance characteristics of swinging detentionhollow metal door assemblies of various styles and types ofconstruction for use in wall openings designed to incarcerateinmates in detention/correctional institutions.1.2 These test methods test the capability of a swinging dooras

Significance and Use4.1

22、 A major concern for prison administrative officials issecurity barriers used in detention/correctional facilities. Thesetest methods are designed to aid in identifying levels ofphysical security for swinging detention hollow metal doorassemblies.4.2 These test methods are not intended to provide am
