Packaging and Package Marking5.1 General Instructions:5.1.1 Warnings, instructions, and the name and address ofthe manufacturer or distributor shall appear on the exterior o
19、feach point of sale container in which a manufacturer packagesits LVRM projectiles.5.1.2 The packaging of all LVP markers shall contain acautionary statement. The statement shall be placed promi-nently on the package and set distinctively apart from otherwording or designs.5.1.3 The label design, th
20、e use of vignettes, or the proximityof other labeling or lettering shall not obscure or renderinconspicuous any labeling statement.5.1.4 All labeling statements shall appear on the principaldisplay panel and at minimum be in the English language.5.1.5 Prominence of the statement shall be achieved by
21、placement within the borders of a rectangle and by use of asuitable contrasting background. The statement shall be inuppercase bold face letters of a size bearing a reasonablerelationship to the other type on the main panel, but no lessthan 8-point type. The letters in the signal word shall be at le
22、ast50 % larger than the letters in the other words in the cautionarystatement. The signal word shall be preceded by a safety alertsymbol. It is composed of an equilateral triangle surroundingan exclamation mark. The base of the safety alert symbol shallbe on the same horizontal line as the base of t
23、he letters of thesignal word. The height of the safety alert symbol shall equalor exceed the signal word height. The signal word shall be inblack letters on an orange background. The solid triangle of thesafety alert symbol shall be black and the exclamation pointshall be orange. The cautionary stat
24、ement shall have eitherblack lettering on a white background or white lettering on ablack background. When special circumstances limit the use ofthe warning to two colors, the colors assigned to the signalword background may also be used for the cautionary state-ment letters, provided that they cont
25、rast with the backgroundcolor of the product. When special circumstances preclude theuse of safety colors on base materials such as wood, cardboard,metal, plastic, etc., the marking used should (when feasible)contrast with the background color of the base material.5.2 Warning InformationThe followin
