8、developed in accordance with the rules of theAmerican National Standards Institute (ANSI). When AWS American National Standards are either incorporated in, ormade part of, documents that are included in federal or state laws and regulations, or the regulations of other govern-mental bodies, their pr

IntroductionThe American Welding Society (AWS) Board of Direc-tors has adopted a policy whereby all official interpr
37、eta-tions of AWS standards are handled in a formal manner.Under this policy, all interpretations are made by thecommittee that is responsible for the standard. Officialcommunication concerning an interpretation is directedthrough the AWS staff member who works with thatcommittee. The policy requires
