12、ttee and takes into account some sections of ISO Recommendation R1684, “Wire, bar and tube drawing dies DesignationMarkingDimension”. Specifying a method of designation of as-sintered pellets and finished dies, and the subsequent marking of dies, which has been internationally agreed, it is intended
13、 to resolve some of the difficulties which may arise in both national and international trade. Other sections of ISO/R1684 which deal with dimensions of various types of sintered pellets, dies and cases are dealt with in the following Parts of this BritishStandard: Part2: As-sintered pellets and fin
14、ished dies for drawing round wire; Part3: As-sintered pellets and finished dies for drawing round bar. Part2 of this standard revises and extends the scope of the1964 edition of BS3821. Further Parts of the standard, dealing with other hardmetal dies and associated hardmetal tools, will be published
15、 in due course. Appendix A gives terminology of the basic elements of pellets and cases in English, French, German and Italian.
