25、quirements 5.1Manufacturingprocess Themagneticallysoftstructuralpartsdefinedbythisstandardaremanufacturedbyapowdermetallurgical process.Unlessotherwiseagreed,themanufacturingprocessislefttothediscretionofthemanufacturer. 5.2Stateofdelivery Unlessotherwiseagreed,theproductsaredeliveredinthefinallyann

26、ealedstate. 5.3Properties ThemaximumvaluesofcoercivityandtheminimumvaluesofsintereddensityshallbeasgiveninTable1.Table2 includestypicalvaluesforadditionalproperties. Valuesoftheotherpropertiesofcomponents,suchasmechanicalstrengthandsurfacefinish(includingprotection againstcorrosion),canbeagreeduponb

27、etweenmanufacturerandpurchaser. 5.4Chemicalcomposition DatarelatingtothetypicalcontentofcharacteristicalloyingelementsofsinteredmetalsaregiveninTable2.The valuesofchemicalcompositionarenotspecifiedforacceptance. 5.5Dimensions Thepermissibledimensionalvaluesofcomponentsandtheirtolerancesformanintegra

28、lpartoftheagreement betweenmanufacturerandpurchaser. 6Measurements 6.1Scopeoftestandsampling Forthepurposeofdeliverythescopeoftestsandthemethodofsamplingtoverifythepropertiesshallbeagreed whentheorderisplaced.EN10331:2003(E) 6 6.2Determinationofmagneticproperties 6.2.1General Itshallbeensuredthatspe

29、cimenisinthefinallyannealedstateandnotinthecoldworkedstate.Thevaluesgiven inthisstandardarespecifiedforringshapedsamples. Magneticpropertiesmeasuredoncomponentsmaybedifferentduetogeometryortotestmethod. NOTE Ifrequiredthesepropertiesmaybesubjecttoagreementbetweenmanufacturerandpurchaser. 6.2.2 Metho

30、dforthedeterminationofcoercivity CoercivityasspecifiedinTable1shallbemeasuredinaccordancewithprEN10281.EN10330maybeusedfor othershapes. 6.2.3 Methodforthedeterminationofmagneticpolarization ThetypicalvaluesasgiveninTable2havebeendeterminedonringshapedsamples.Othersamples(forexample stripsorrods)mayl

31、eadtodifferentresults. ThetestmethodisdescribedinprEN10281. 6.3Determinationofdensity Forthedeterminationofdensity,thecomponentsshallbeweighedandtheirvolumedeterminedonthebasisof geometricdimensionsorbymeansoftheimmersionmethodinaccordancewithENISO2738orISO3369. 6.4Determinationofhardness Hardnessof

32、thecomponents,asgiveninTable2,isdeterminedaccordingtotheVickersmethodinaccordance withEN244981andISO44982.TheBrinellmethodinaccordancewithENISO65061mayalsobeused. 7Classification Thematerialscoveredbythisstandardareclassifiedaccordingtothemaximumvalueoftheircoercivity. 8Designation Theconventionalde
