Amendment 4 to ISO/IEC 14496-2:2004 was prepared by Joint Technical Committee ISO/IEC JTC 1, Information technology, Subcommittee SC 29, Coding of audio, picture, multimedia and hypermedia information. It specifies one new level 6, for the I
16、SO/IEC 14496-2 simple profile. This level defines increased capabilities of VMV size, VCV buffer size, VCV decoder rate, VBV buffer size, and bit rate for the Simple Profile. In particular, level 6 provides support for typical visual session sizes of 1280 720 (often known as “720p resolution”) in re
17、ctangular-VOP luminance sample units.
