5、B) tees as in DIN 16831-5 for thermo-compression socket welding to polybutene pipes as in DIN 16968 and DIN 16969. 30、ng Marking shall include the minimum details given in table 4, and shall be printed or stamped on fittings so as to remain legible throughout their service life. NOTE The manufacturer shall not be liable if marking becomes illegible as a result of installation procedures, or of cleaning, or if fitti
31、ngs are painted, scratched or masked. Marking shall not cause any cracking or other damage which could affect the serviceability of the assemblies. DIN 16831-2:2003-05 10 Annex A (informative) Explanatory notes DIN 16831 is a seven-part series of basic standards which are the first German standards dealing with the dimensions and quality requirements for polybutene (PB) fittings. The standards were largely
35、 developed on the basis of existing standards on fittings made from other plastics. Each type of fitting is illustrated together with an equation used to calculate the design dimension, minimum value kmin, and the same equations can be used to calculate kminfor nominal sizes not covered in this stan
