20、s the general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particu
21、lar, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Objectives of jetting operations (e.g. permanent or temporary structure). 0.1.2 Any obligations and conditions imposed as a result of approval. 0.1.3 Geotechnical conditions, with details as in DIN EN 12716:200
22、1-12, clause 5, and location of, for instance, any temporary structures left in the ground. 0.1.4 Depth and types of foundation and constructional details of, and loads from, neighbouring structures. 0.1.5 Working space available for jetting operations and space for treatment of spoil return. DIN 18321:2016-09 6 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on th
30、e following units, accounted for separately according to homogeneous zone and soil type, and mix of grouting material: making grouted elements: by jetting length (m), performance of tests, grouped according to method used, removal of any excess material: by area of exposed surface (m2), disposal of
31、spoil return: by volume (m3) or mass (kg, t), removal of soil containing hardened grouting material from working levels: by number, grouped according to working sections, moving equipment from one injection hole to another grouped according to distance: by number, making preliminary elements, includ
32、ing tests: by number. 1 Scope This standard covers jet grouting operations for the purpose of enhancing the water impermeability of soil, rock and backfill. 1.2 This standard does not cover the associated drilling work (see DIN 18301), grouting other than jet grouting (see DIN 18309). 1.3 DIN 18299,
33、 clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifi-cations of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18321 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: 2.1 General The materials used for jet grouting s
34、hall conform to the specifications of DIN EN 12716. 2.2 Materials The contractor shall ascertain that the raw materials and the suspensions used for jetting comply with the requirements specified in DIN EN 12716:2001-12, clause 6, and provide proof of such if requested by the client. 36、689-1 DIN EN ISO 17892-1 2.4 Classification of soil and rock into homogeneous zones Prior to the jet grouting work, soil and rock shall be classified into homogeneous zones, depending on their condition. A homogeneous zone is a limited area comprising one or more soil or rock strata that, for jet gr
37、outing work, exhibit comparable properties. If these contain substances that are of environmental relevance, these shall be taken into consideration when classifying the soil or rock into homogeneous zones. For the homogeneous zones, the following properties and characteristics together with their r
38、ange, as determined, shall be indicated. Information is given below on the standards or recommendations with which these characteristics can be verified, where applicable. If several methods are possible, one standard or recommendation shall be specified. For soil: local designation, grain-size dist
39、ribution with bandwidths according to DIN 18123, proportion of cobbles, boulders and large boulders according to DIN EN ISO 14688-1, determined by separating and measuring or sieving, then weighing and referring the results to the overall mass of excavated material, DIN 18321:2016-09 8 undrained she
40、ar strength according to DIN 4094-4, DIN 18136 or DIN 18137-2, water content (according to DIN EN ISO 17892-1), plasticity index (according to DIN 18122-1), consistency index (according to DIN 18122-1), density/compactness: definition according to DIN EN ISO 14688-2; determination according to DIN 1
41、8126, organic matter content according to DIN 18128, and soil groups according to DIN 18196. For rock: local designation, identification of rock according to DIN EN ISO 14689-1, weathering and alteration effects, stability according to DIN EN ISO 14689-1. 2.5 Description and classification of man-ma
42、de ground and other materials Fill and materials other than soil and rock (e.g. building components, recycled materials, industrial by-products, waste and soil containing foreign matter) shall normally be described and classified in accordance with subclauses 2.3 and 2.4, respectively. Otherwise, th
43、ey are to be described in terms of their suitability for use in jet grouting. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows. 3.1 General 3.1.1 For specifications relating to underpinning and jetting operations, the following apply: DIN 4123 DIN EN 127
44、16. 3.1.2 The choice of construction schedule and the choice and deployment of equipment shall be left to the contractor. DIN 18321:2016-09 9 3.1.3 Before work commences, the contractor and the client are jointly to inspect the site to establish, and to document, the condition of structures and serv
45、ices within the injection zone (see VOB/B (DIN 1961), 3, clause 4). 3.1.4 The temporary storage and disposal of the spoil return shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 3.1.5 On the clients request, the contractor shall provide proof of having properly disposed of any residues (spoil return a
46、nd excess material). 3.2 Jet grouting 3.2.1 The choice of jetting process, jet grouting parameters and the working sequence shall be left to the contractor. Where jet grouting parameters are known from preliminary tests, these parameters shall be used. 3.2.2 If the target parameters are not achieved
47、, the contractor shall notify the client immediately. The necessary work shall be agreed between client and contractor. Unless the contractor is at fault, the work involved counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.2.3 If the contractor identifies any risks (e.g. to the stability of structur
48、es) as a result of jetting operations, he shall notify the client without delay. If there is imminent danger, the contractor shall immediately undertake the necessary work. The ensuing work shall be agreed between client and contractor. Provided the contractor cannot be held responsible, the action taken and the ensuing work count as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.2.4 After completion of the jetting operations, the suspension level shall be maintained until the hardening process is complete.
