16、equired for drafting the specification of works The following information supplements the general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This informat
17、ion does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Type, constructional details, dimensions and location of any scaffolding installed by other contractors, and schedule for the
18、installation or removal of such scaffolding. 0.1.2 Type and size of free edges and openings that are not secured against falling. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Types, location, dimensions, condition and strength of surfaces to be worked on (e.g. previously decorated surfaces and coatings, a
19、ny existing decorative coverings, any residues of special primer used for easy stripping of wall paper). 0.2.2 Type and condition of any primer and lining and any special properties (e.g. thermal or sound insulation). 22、ed (e.g. washable or varnished wallcoverings) and adhesion criteria (e.g. whether emulsion adhesive, strippable wallcoverings or wall linings are used, or whether the substrate is treated with a primer for easy stripping of wallpaper). 0.2.7 Any lining paste or paper to be used from which the wallco
23、vering can be easily stripped. 0.2.8 Preparation of substrate, e.g. cleaning, high pressure water cleaning, degreasing, sanding down of substrate and old coatings to achieve a matt surface. 0.2.9 Removal of fungal growth and disinfection of affected areas. 0.2.10 Number and type of fillings (e.g. pa

27、observed. 0.2.17 Any exceptional physical or chemical conditions to which materials and components will be exposed after installation (e.g. impact, aggressive vapours, dampness). 0.2.18 Number, type, location and dimensions of installation parts, fitments, etc. penetrating the surfaces to be worked.

31、andard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made that are not included in the specifications of this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may be of particular relevance in: subclause 3.1.5, if the surfaces are to be covered wi
32、th a single smooth coat of material prior to being covered, subclause 3.1.6, if patch filling or partial filling is specified or stopping or filling is to be carried out more than once, subclause 3.2.3.3, if wallpaper is to be overlapped instead of being butt-jointed, subclause 3.2.3.4, if cross-joi
33、nting of wallpaper is permitted, subclause 3.2.3.9, if covers of junction or distribution boxes are to be covered separately. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks No details are required supplementary to those given in DIN 18299, subclause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specificati
34、on of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following: 0.5.1 Area (m2), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: ceilings, walls and coverings individually measuring 2,5 m2, pilasters, lesenes, columns, beams, joists, projections and the like with a width
35、 of exposed face 1 m each side, soffits of staircases, wallcovering materials etc., treatment of partial areas, separately according to proportion of area, e.g. 10 % of the surface of the component, 10 % 30 % of the surface of the component, 30 % 50 % of the surface of the component. 36、09 6 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: reveals of openings, joints, pilasters, lesenes, columns, beams, joists, wall projections, cornices, etc. with a width of exposed face 1 m each side, strings of staircases, coving, with details of heigh
37、t and projection, framings, fascias, etc., covers of roller shutter boxes, pelmets, curtain rails, etc., mouldings, cords, friezes and borders, profiled sections, etc., plastic film, fabrics, trimming of excess flanking strip, working up to components and fitments, bridging of cracks in plaster or c
38、oncrete. 0.5.3 Number, accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: ceilings, walls and coverings, individually measuring 2,5 m2, sectionalizing of walls, doors, etc., individual surfaces receiving a covering of paper, fabric, etc., mouldings, curtain rails, etc., profi
39、led sections and ornamental reliefs (such as ceiling roses), rolls of wallpaper and bales of fabric used. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard specifies requirements relating to workmanship when applying decorative coverings on walls and ceilings. 1.2 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where
40、the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18366 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The DIN Standards and other requirements given below cover the most commonly used materials and com
41、ponents. DIN EN ISO 4618 is applicable with regard to paint removers, barrier coating materials, primers, fillers and stoppers. DIN 18366:2016-09 7 2.1 Materials for substrate preparation and pretreatment 2.1.1 Barrier coating materials Barrier coating materials shall prevent materials used for the
42、substrate from affecting the decoration. 2.1.2 Etching agents Etching agents shall be used for roughening old coats of oil paint and varnish on previously decorated surfaces. 2.2 Primers Primers may be pigmented or free of pigments. They shall adjust or reduce the absorbance of the substrate and pro
43、vide a key for wallcoverings. 2.3 Lining paste and papers General purpose lining paper shall be plain and absorbent. Easy-strip lining paste and paper shall be such that wallcoverings can be easily dry-stripped. 2.4 Reinforcing materials 2.4.1 Reinforcing adhesive Reinforcing adhesive shall be made
44、from polymeric emulsion according to DIN EN ISO 4618. 2.4.2 Reinforcing woven fabric and reinforcing nonwovens DIN 60000 DIN 61850 2.5 Wallcoverings DIN EN 233 DIN EN 234 DIN EN 235 DIN EN 259-1 DIN EN 259-2 DIN EN 266 DIN EN 12781 DIN EN 13085 DIN EN 15102 DIN EN ISO 11654 Wallcoverings from any on
45、e batch shall be of the same quality. Wallcoverings from different batches shall have different batch numbers. DIN 18366:2016-09 8 2.6 Edge-fixed fabric coverings Fabrics from any one consignment shall be of the same quality, shade and type, even when not from the same batch. Fabrics from more than
46、one batch shall be sorted according to their batch number. 2.7 Adhesives Reversible adhesive shall be pure cellulose paste. 2.8 Mouldings Mouldings shall be of the same shade, profile and cross section. They shall not crack or warp. 2.9 Cords Cords shall not be affected by moisture or heat. 2.10 Fix
47、ings Any fasteners shall be corrosion-resistant. 2.11 Borders Borders shall have the same properties as the appropriate wallcoverings. 2.12 Profiled sections and ornamental features Profiled sections and ornamental features shall be of uniform texture, have an even contact face and shall not warp. 3
48、 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows: 3.1 General 3.1.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: the condition of the substrate if this is unsuitable (e.g. it is of inadequate quality or too damp, or there is dusting or flaking plaster, cracking, efflorescence or mould), unsuitable conditions due to the weather or the indoor climate (see subclause 3.1.2), any irregularities of the substrate surface likely to adversely affect the appe
