Foreword This standard has been prepared by the Arbeitsausschuss Walzlager (Rolling Bearings Standards Com- mitt ee) . It conforms
3、in substance to IS0 9628 : 1992, except that a) insert bearings with concentric locking collar around the inner ring and the specifications relating to inner ring eccentric extension and radial internal clearance have not been included; b) the range of nominal sizes covered in tables 1 to 3 has been
4、 extended to include 1 O0 mm; c) tables 1 to 3 have been supplemented by the addition of columns for dimensionB, mass and symbol. Amendments This standard differs from the February 1979 edition in that it has been editorially revised and type YAL insert bearings have been included. Previous edition

All dimensions are in mm. 1 Scope This standard specifies the dimensions, mass and bore diametertolerances for three types of rolling bearing with a spherical outside surface and an extended inner ring with a locking device. Type YEL and YEN bearings have an eccentric locking co
6、llar for fixing the inner ring to the shaft (see figures 1 and 2), and type YAL bearings are fixed to the shaft by means of set screws in the inner ring (see figure 3). The outer ring of all three types of bearing has a spherical outside surface so that the bearing can be mounted in a housing with a
7、 matching spherical seat, thus providing correct alignment. Using these bearings with housings complying with DIN 626-2 reduces the need for expensive machining processes, and allows the use of standard shafts. 2 Normative references This standard incorporates, by dated or undated reference, provisi

Design details not given here remain unspecified. The bore diameters and outside diameters given in tab
14、les 1 to 3 correspond to diameter series 2 as given in DIN 616, except for nominal sizes, d, of 12 mm, 15 mm, and 65 mm. The inner ring widths specified here are greater than those specified in DIN 61 6. For type YEL and YEN bearings, where the locking device extends axially beyond the inner ring, t
15、he width over the locking device, called the overall width (B,), is specified. For type YAL bearings, where the locking device is not axially extending beyond the inner ring, dimension B is the overall inner ring width. In accordance with IS0 9628, the three overall width series given are designated

29、ial of the cage, eccentric locking collars, set screws and seals being at the manufacturers discretion. 6 Design Insert bearings are supplied with different types of seal of various sizes. The exact design of the seals is not specified in this standard. Page 6 DIN 626-1 : 1999-07 The bearings shall
30、be provided with lubrication holes. Details of such holes are not specified. Insert bearings may only be used without lubrication holes if so agreed. The cage design shall be at the manufacturers discretion. Design details regarding the eccentric locking collar and the set screws are not specified i
31、n this standard. 7 Lubrication Insert bearings shall be supplied greased, the lubricant used complying at least with the requirements specified in DIN 51825. 8 Service temperature ranges Bearings complying with this standard may be used at temperatures ranging from - 25 “C to 11 O “C. Bearings designed for use at other temperatures will be supplied on request.
