The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschi

7、ting of raw, refined and boiled linseed oil have been combined into one standard. b) As regards requirements for raw linseed oil (formerly in DIN 55930): 1) Water content by mass is specified rather than volatile matter content. 2) The Gardner colour system is used rather than the iodine colour syst

8、em, and a Gardner colour number after heating is now specified. 3) Determination of the ash content and unsaponifiable matter content, testing for the presence of fish oils, and bleach testing are no longer specified. 4) The phosphoric acid test (PAT) is now specified. c) As regards requirements for

9、 boiled linseed oil (formerly in DIN 55932): 1) The refractive index is no longer included. 2) Water content by mass is specified rather than volatile matter content. 3) The Gardner colour number is to be agreed. 4) An additional drying time (15 h at 25 C to 30 C) is now included. 5) The maximum aci

10、d value has been changed from 5 mg KOH/g to 8 mg KOH/g. DIN EN ISO 150:2007-05 3 6) The saponification value has been changed from 185 mg KOH/g to 200 mg KOH/g to 188 mg KOH/g to 200 mg KOH/g. 7) Determination of the ash content, viscosity and unsaponifiable matter content, testing for the presence

11、of fish oils, and bleach testing are no longer specified. 8) Clarity (in terms of the presence of sediment) is now specified. d) As regards requirements for refined linseed oil (formerly in DIN 55933): 1) A differentiation is made between alkali-refined and acid-refined oil. 2) Water content by mass

12、 is specified rather than volatile matter content. 3) The colour number (here the Gardner number) and acid value are now specified (previously they were to be agreed). 4) Determination of the ash content and unsaponifiable matter content, testing for the presence of fish oils, and bleach testing are

13、 no longer specified. e) As regards testing of oils (formerly in DIN 55934): 1) Determination of volatile matter content, ash content, viscosity, the colour number, the acid value1), the saponification value1), unsaponifiable matter content, the iodine value (Wijs method)1), fish oil content, resin

14、acid content, oil insoluble polyethers content, the fatty acid composition, and testing for polybromides and bleach testing are no longer included. 2) Clarity determination, the assessment of break in alkali-refined linseed oils and determining the Gardner colour number after heating are now include

27、over as EN ISO 150:2007 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 “Paints and varnishes”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2007, and conflict
