Abstract. This commercial item description covers one type
2、 and size of plasticized polyvinyl chloride cover sized to fit over the standard personnel identification tag. 5、omerjc pi asti c. Workmanship. After completion, the finished tag cover, shall be thoroughly cleaned and all excess material removed in the final processing. The finished tag should have no objectionable odor; edges should be smooth; n3 lettering missing or not completely molded; no holes missing; s
6、urface should not contain voids or pockets. Product Demonstration Model. When required, offerers shall submit samples of their intended production. The Product Demonstration Model will consist of units independently developed. Product Demonstration Models will be analyzed ar,d evaluated by the gover
7、nment. Evaluation criteria an basis for award are contained in the solicitation. Product Demonstration Models will be retained by the government. One (1) Product Demonstrtion Model approved by DPSC under the resultant contract will serve as a manufocturing standard for the corresponding production i
8、tems delivered under this contract. Offerers are advised that the Product Demonstration Model does not relieve the successful offerer of his responsibility to perform in accordance with the Commercial Item Description specified above. Quality Assurance Certification. The contractor shall certify tha
9、t the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standarcts and quality assurance practices. The government reserves the right to reqire proof of sucn conformance prior to the first delivery and t
10、hereafter as may be otherwise provided for, under the provisions of the contract. Reljance on contractor PA systems shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that ali products or supplies subBitte0 to the government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract
11、 Component Testing. The plasticized polyvinyl chloride shall be tested for the characteristics listed in table ii. The inspection level shail be I and the acceptable quality leve? (AQL), expressed in terms of defects per hundred units, shall be 1.2. The lot size for the plsticized polyvinyl chlorid
12、e shall be expressed in units of 1 pound. The sample unit shall be fcijr pieces and each piece shall be i8 inches by 6 inches by 0.025 inch.
