Abstract. This commercial item descript
2、ion covers suspenders for use with flying clothing. Classification. The Suspenders, Trousers shall be in the following 0 types: Type I - Elastic Type II - Nonelastic Salient Characteristics. The suspenders shall consist of two strips of webbing, 1-1/2 inch wide for Type I - Elastic and Type II - Non
3、elastic and shall be colored sage green shade No. 1514, DPSC HANDBOOK 4120.1. The suspenders will have a crisscross pattern with wire buttonholes on two of the ends and leather buttonholes on the other two ends as shown in figure 1. 6、cotton, and rubber, woven construction measuring 1-1/2 inch wide 5 1/16 and cut to 34-inch long strips. The Type II nonelastic webbing shall be a one hundred percent cotton woven fabric measuring 1-1/2 inch wide a ferrule and a suspender hook made from 0.015-inch 1010 hot rolled steel, and a complet
7、e snap fastener set. Label/markinq. Each suspenders shall be permanently and legibly indented or marked with the manufacturers name or trademark of such characters as to be identifiable with the manufacturer. WorkmanshiD. After completion, the finished suspenders shall be thoroughly cleaned, and all
8、 loose thread, lint, sharp edges, and foreign matter removed. Product Demonstration Model. When required, offerers shall submit samples of their intended production. The Product Demonstration Model will consist of units independently developed. Product Demonstration Models will be analyzed and evalu
9、ated by the government. Evaluation criteria and basis for award are contained in the solicitation. Product Demonstration Models will be retained by the government. One (1) Product Demonstration Model approved by DPSC under the resultant contract will serve as a manufacturing standard for the corresp
10、onding production items delivered under this contract. Offerers are advised that the Product Demonstration Model does not relieve the successful offerer of his responsibility to perform in accordance with the Commercial Item Description specified above. Reaulatorv Reauirements. The offeror/contracto
11、r is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable. Quality Assurance Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered . meets the salient characteristics and the requirements of this commercial item description, and
12、where certificates of compliance are conformance prior or to check such items to determine the validity of submitted, the government reserves the right eo require proof of such t the certificate. Examination. Lots of suspenders shall be inspected in accordance with Itsampling Procedures and Tables f

The suspenders shall be examined for the defects listed below. The lot size
14、shall be expressed in units of suspenders. The sample unit is one suspender. the acceptable quality level (AQL), expressed in terms of defects per hundred units, shall be 2.5. The inspection level shall be II and Packaqinq Examination. The fully packaged shipping containers shall be examined in acco
15、rdance with defects listed below. The lot size shall be the number of shipping containers in the inspection lot. The inspection level shall be S-2 and AQL, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units, shall be 2.5. Dimensional Examination. The finished suspenders shall conform to the dimensions
16、specified. tolerance shall be classified as a defect. The sample unit shall be one; the inspection level shall be 5-3 and the AQL shall be 4.5. Packaqina Examination. The fully packaged shipping containers shall be examined in accordance with defects listed below. The lot size shall be the number of
17、 shipping containers in the inspection lot. The inspection level shall be S-2 and AQL shall be 2.5. 20、missing, incorrect, or illegible; brand marks and excessive softness of leather; broken or malformed, corroded areas, burr or sharp edges; measurement of item not as specified. Preservation, Packins, and Markinq. The preservation, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
