13、The demerit points per 100 square yards (83.6n?),when calculated as specified in Section 4, shall not exceed the established maximum point value. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibi.1ity for inspection Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the contractor is responsible for the perfo
14、rmance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are
15、deemed necessary to assure supplies and servi ces conform to the prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Certificate of compliance Where certificates of compliance are sub- mitted, the Government reserves the right to check test such items to determine the validity of the certification. 17、e applicable methods specified in 4.4. 4.3 Inspection except where otherwise indicated. 4.3.1 Component and material inspection In accordance with 4.1 above, components and materials chal 1 be inspected and tested in accordance with all requirements of referenced specifications , drawings , and stan
18、dards unless otherwise excluded, amended, modified, or qualified in this specification or applicable purchase document. In addition, the supplier shall furnish a certificate of compliance for the cotton, fiber identification, the combing requirement and the finishing requirements specified in 3.3.1
19、and 3.6. Inspection shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-105, 4.3.2 Examination of the end item Examination of the end item shall be in accordance with 4.3.2.1 through 4.3.2.4. 4.3.2.1 Yard-by-yard examination be examined on the face side only. roll does not exceed 100 yards (91.4m) , the e
