The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification sheet and MIL-DTL-24558, “Terminal Boxes, Connection, for Electrical and Electronic Systems, General Specification for“. REQUIREMENTS: The terminal box shall
3、be as specified herein and in accordance with table I and figures 1 through 3. 1. Electrical rating. The terminal box shall have an electrical rating of 600 volts root mean square, and 600 volts direct current. The maximum current shall not exceed 30 amperes per stud of terminal board. 2. Dimensions
4、 and configuration. For dimensions and configuration see figures 1 through 3. All dimensions in figures 1 through 3 are expressed in decimal inches. Overall terminal box dimensions are approximate. Exact dimensions are shown in MIL-E-24142/4, “Enclosure, Submersible (15-Foot) Size 4 by 7“. 3. Tolera
5、nce. All tolerances not specified herein shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24558. 4. Standard parts. The standard parts shown in table I shall be used in the construction of the connection box specified herein. The numbers in circles shown on figures 1 and 2 are the same as those shown in the “Ite
6、m“ column of table I. 5. Enclosure. The enclosure shall be a 15-foot submersible type. Maximum number of wi
7、res. The maximum number of wires (including spares) shall not exceed three times the number of terminals. The maximum number of wires to be connected to a single terminal shall not exceed three.
