33、boding and tides. 4.3 Equipment task The specification should describe in geneml terms the function, tusk or role of the equipment to be purchased, e.g. whether it is part of a nao power genemting plant, a modification to an existing power genemting plant, or rephernent equipment. Where appropriate,
34、 the specification should define the function and the Imown limitations, any, in the equipment connected to that which is being supplied so that the equipment may avoid imposing adverse conditions or the supplier may suggest modifica,tions to connected equipment which would mure satisfacmy operation

Page 7 EN 45510-6-7:1998 4.4 Equipment to be purchased DE spectfication may define the equipment type or arrangement to be purchased, for example: - the moisture separator reheater type (combined moisture separator reheater, separate moisture separator, separate reheater, reheater bundles, high ve
36、locity moisture separator); - number of shells; - number of heating stages; - number of moisture separating units and/or reheater bundles per shel. The specification my the-se should be to a recognized European or intemational sWuhrd. The specification should defhe the type and capacity of other ser
37、vices for the operation of the equipment such as compressed air, water or auxiliary steam. 4.7 Other intedaces Th speewcation should define the inter$aces with existing ana%ary or new a drain and vent systems; safe, control and shut-off valves, pressure, temperature and level local and remote indica
38、tors, level conb-o1 systems, test instrumentation, tube leak and excess residual moisture monitoring devices (heating steam flow measurement); gaskets, tube plugs, orifices, tools, etc.; handing and maintenance systems, stairs and platforms for maintenance and access; transport, storage, installatio
39、n, temporary protection for transport and site storage, cleaning of the moisture separator reheater after instailation; commissioning andor performance tests; equipment details, operation and maintenance manuals If the purchaser wishes to have a contmct for control and instrumentation separate from
40、the equipment supply contract, the specification may require the supplier to provide infomtion on aU the necessary inwaces (e.g. ali instsum ents provided within the scope of supply). In addition provision may need to be made in the contmct to mure the availability of information necessary to adow a
41、 sat.tsfactory control system to be obtained. For example, this may include a requirement for cooperation between the purchaser and supplier. Alternatively the specification may should be stated. Wwe releuant, the specification should also state the policy in the following operational areas: - rislc
42、s e.g. loss of electrical supplies, loss of water suppLies or cooling systems; - obligations e.g, opemtwnal stag shift patterns; - restrictions e.g. process wate disposal. 7.2 Manning levels The specification should define the power station manning levels where ULey may influence the equipment suppl
43、y. 7.3 Normal operation The specification should define in broad terms the expected normal operation of the power station and of the equipment. The specification should define maximum and minimum normal operating conditions for the moisture separator reheater or any component. The purchaser should d
44、efine the operating hits for normal operation and any requirements for economic operation (e.g. reheater bundles out of service). 7.4 Operating hours The specification should - reheater bundles out of service; - operation with excess working fluid pressure or temperature; - failure of control equipm
45、ent. The specification should interpret these incidents into appropriate terminai point transients. In particular the allowable temperature difference between LP-turbine inlets and the allowable time of operation without reheater should be defined by the purchaser. In some cases these abnormal condi
46、tions may be avoided by modifications to equipment outside the scope of supply This may be covered by a contract option in the tender. 7.7 Further operational requirements The specification should provide information on the required flexibility and controllability of the moisture separator reheater
47、plant during transient operation. For flexibility this may comprise typical time history information and specific control criteria. For controllability the Illnits on operating parameters should be stated 8 Life expectancy 8.1 Design life 8.1.1 Geneml This should be a specific ped which talces into
