The principal changes in this edition as compared with EN 60335-2-14:2003 are as follows (minorchanges are not listed): clarifies criteria fordetermining “normal household and
16、similar use“ (Scope); adds definitions, marking and testcriteria forblendersand cordlessblenders(3.105, 3.106, 7.1, 7.12, 11.7.103, 15.2, 15.101, 20.103, 20.104, 20.118, 20.119, 22.103, Figure 103) clarifies the “class“ rating forhand-held kitchen machines (6.1); adds tests forsieves of centrifugal
17、juicers(20.117, Annex AA); clarifies criteria for determining “accidental operation“ (20.103, 20.109, 20.115). 37、 shown that all risksfromproducts within the scope of thisstandard are fully covered by the Low Voltage Directive, 73/23/EEC. Forproducts having mechanical moving parts, a risk assessment in accordance with the MachineryDirective, 98/37/EC, has shown that the risksare mainly of electrical origin and
38、 consequently this directive is not applicable.
