IS0 472: 1988, Plastics - Vocabulary. 3 Definition For the purpose of this International Standard, the following definition applies: 3.1 pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes: Category of
25、 tapes coated on one or both faces with a pressure-sensitive adhesive which is permanently tacky at room temperature. They require no activation by water, solvent or heat to adhere to a variety of dissimilar surfaces upon contact, using only light pressure. 4 Classification and designation The tape
26、shall be classified by: a) form and nature of backing (base) material; b) temperature index of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape (4.1); c) nature of adhesive (4.2); d) the addition of “2“ at the end of the designation denotes that the tape is coated with adhesive on both sides. Particular types of ta
27、pe may be designated by using the code letters for the form and nature of backing material given in table 1, followed by the figures for temperature index and code letters for the adhesive, as indicated in 4.2. NOTE - The temperature index, while giving guidance of the thermal ageing behaviour of the material. should not be identified with the maximum ad

For tapes that are coloured, the colours shall be as near as

When unwound, the tape shall show negligible transfer of adhesive to the backing of the underlying turn, tearing of the backing (base), f

Closer tolerances than those stated can be specified in the individual specifications sh

Other lengths may be used based on agreement between purchaser and supplier 7.4 Thickness Thicknesses are
36、specified in the individual specification sheets. 8 Minimum storage life When correctly stored in the original sealed packing at a temperature between 10 “C and 30 OC, and an r.h. between 40 % and 75 %, the tape shall comply with the requirements of this standard for a period as specified in the rel

38、 be separated; c) they are reasonably protected from damage during normal transit conditions. 10 Marking Each roll shall have the manufacturers or suppliers identification clearly marked on the core of the roll or on the roll label. Each transit pack (carton) shall have the following information cle
39、arly and indelibly marked on it: a) the number of this standard; b) the designation of the tape, in accordance with clause 4; c) the appearance of the tape, according to clause 5; d) the nominal width of the tape; e) the length of the tape on each roll; 1) the nominal thickness of the tape; g) the n
