The title of this European Standard was also revised; Subclause 2.2 Systems of levels has been introduced; Subclause 2.5 IEC type designation has been removed following the decision according to 14.2 of the Berlin IEC/SC 48B Plenary meeting minutes (48B/1732
15、/RM); Clauses 3 Dimensional Information and 4 Characteristics have been added; old Subclauses 4.2 to 4.4 have been moved to new Subclauses 5.3 to 5.5; Table 2 Number of test specimens and contacts has been inserted; test groups have been rearranged. Test group HP has been added. The following dates

If different levelsare defined in the detail product specification, theyhave to be numbered, where the lowest number(1) usually indicates thehighest perfor mance. 2.2.2 Compatibility levels, according to IEC 61076-1:2006As a function of the st

These levels are defined in 2.2.3.1to 2.2.3.5 of IEC61076-1:2006 and shall, when appropriate, be indicated in thedetailproduct specification of rectangular connectors. NOTE If connectors of different

42、three) and contacts (not less thanthirty)for each test sequence.Individual variants may be submitted to type tests for approval of thoseparticularvariants. It is permissible to limit the number of variants tested to a selection representative of the whole range for which approval isrequired (which ma
43、y be less than the range covered by thedetail product specification),but each feature and characteristic shall be proved. The connectors shall have been processed in a careful and workmanlike manner, in accordance with good current practices.5.2 Test schedulesThe detail product specification shall co
44、ntain the requirem ents for basic, full and intermediatetestschedules as described in 5.2 of IEC 61076-1:2006. The basic (minimum) test schedule is givenin5.2.1. The detail product specification shall state the tests to be carried out and shall specify the requirements to be fulfilled. It is a requir
45、ement ofthisstandard that in no case shall the tests required by the detail product specification be less than those listed in 5.2.1.A full test schedule is laid down in 5.2.2.For many connector types, an intermediate test schedule may be appropriate. Such anintermediate test schedule shall then be
46、formed by using the full test schedule and omittingentire groups and/or those tests and/orconditionings that are not necessary.Test phase numbers shall notbemodified, but used as given in 5.2.2. The same is applicable when the sequence of the test phases in a test group is not entirelyappropriate to
47、 a particular type or style. In that case, the sequence of the tests, but not the measurement to be performed subsequent to tests, may be altered for that particular detailproduct specification. The test phase reference shall be retained foreach test, therebyaffordingclarity should suchalteration in s
