23、ps, each clamp shall have 25% effective travel into the die space andthe clamp must clear the maximum die space by 25mm when retracted.Automatic clamps, traveling or fixed, shall meet or exceed the FordManufacturing DR Standards for die fastening.Upper die clamps, traveling or fixed, shall be on at
24、least a dual alternatingunclamp circuit, alternating opposite sides of the die cavity. At no timeshall a false, or and inadvertent act or a signal allow any clamp to bereleased.Die clamps shall retain pressure with all power off for not less than 300hours. When pressure is reduced the clamp shall not be permitted to movegreater than the vertical clamp stroke or shall it be permitted to loseretention of the die.It should be possible to pre-select clamps to be used.Services shall be provided to determine clamp positioning such as: retractedextended, clamped or unclamped.
