SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a pigmented or clear two component enamel suitable for surface application to plastic substrates without the aid of a

3、primer. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for paint and/or clear coating used as a first surface finish for plastic wheel cover and ornaments. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESS Suppliers must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality System Standard Q-101. A mutually

4、acceptable Control Plan as described therein is required for material/source approval. Appropriate statistical tools must be used to analyze process/product data so that variation in the final product is continuously reduced. 3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSIS Ford Motor Company,

5、 at its option, may conduct infrared and/or thermal analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification. The IR spectra and thermograms established for initial approval shall constitute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at the designated material laboratory. All samples shall pr

6、oduce IR spectra and thermograms that correspond to the reference standard when tested under the same conditions. 3.3 COMPOSITION The material shall be a two component urethane enamel, pigmented and/or clear to match the desired color. The material shall be properly formulated to provide good adhesi

Remove parts from the water and immediately scribe an X with a carbide scribe through the mate

16、rial to the substrate. Dry the scribed area with a paper towel, cloth or air pressure and immediately apply, with firm thumb pressure, a minimum of 13 cm2 of ESF-M3G48-A tape. Remove the tape by pulling one end at a 90 deg angle at a moderate speed. The following conditions shall be basis for reject
