SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an extreme pressure lubricant containing lithium-12 hydroxystearate thickener and mineral oil, modifie

3、d with extreme pressure and tackiness agents. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a grease used as a long-life lubricant on rack and pinion power steering gear tie rods. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Materials suppliers and part producer

4、s must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.3 ODOR Not objectionable 3.4 COLOR Red 3.5 MOISTURE, max 0.5% (ISO 3733/ASTM D 95) 3.6 THICKENER 5 - 9% (ASTM 128) 3.7 DROPPING POINT, min 177 C (ISO 2176/ASTM D 566) 3.8 MINERAL OIL AND SOLUBLE ADDITIV
