Each coupled hose assembly shall have a date of coupling (5 digit or 4 digit as shown below), the Ford Motor Company part number, and the coupling manufacturers identification mark stamped on either end fitting or the center connection. Additional manufacturers markings on the hose and/or coupling for more positive control is permissible.
