APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a wrap between the shell and cover in

3、 muffler applications. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-

4、M99P1111-A). 3.1 COMPOSITION 3.1.1 Glass Borosilicate (“E“ glass) 3.1.2 Binder Polyvinyl alcohol, dispersed so as to eliminate loose fibers on either surface of material. 3.2 TENSILE STRENGTH, min (ASTM D 828 with 25.4 mm sample width) WMD 62.5 kg/m (613 N/m) AMD 44.6 kg/m (437 N/m) 3.3 BASIS WEIGHT
