6、AL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Contact for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 WEIGHT PERCENTAGE OF FLUX For most applications a solder containing approximately 2.2%
7、 flux by weight is generally used. In other applications, where excessive amounts of resin may be undesirable, solders containing approximately 1.1% flux by weight may be used. A solder containing approximately 3.3% flux by weight may be specified should a larger amount of flux be required. 4.2 SIZE
8、 OF SOLDER WIRE Cored solders are most often obtained in 0.063 in (1.6 mm), 0.090 in (2.29 mm), and 0.125 in (3.18 mm) diameter sizes, although sizes from 0.009 in (0.23 mm) to 0.250 in (6.35 mm) diameter are obtainable for specific applications. Example of Orderings: ESF-M11A4-A Solder, 0.063 in (1.6 mm) diameter, 2.2% flux by weight.
