SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a one part silicone fluid which when subjected to heat gels into a very low strength elastomer and will then crumble under load into very small p
3、articles that take on the characteristics of a fluid. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as the energy absorbing medium in an impact shock device such as the isolator bumper assembly. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material
4、 suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 FLUID 3.4.1 Hardness 67 +/- 5 (ASTM D 2240, except use Durometer “00“) The plug is to be molded per para 5.3 of ASTM D 395 for 20 minutes at 177 +/- 3 C. 3.4.2 Compression
