Hood - to eliminated strong air currents and carry off fumes Natural Gas Source Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicate
3、d herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 OC and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Cut and mount a 6 by 6 inch test specimen and mount as shown in
4、the attached illustration. Suitable clamps shall be used to hold the test specimen rigidly in place for this test. 2. Adjust gas pressure to obtain a flame which extends 1/2 inch beyond the tip of the hypodermic needle. 3. Move the test specimen into position against the flame so that the tip of the

Hold the test specimen in this position for the time specified by the material standard and observe whether the material ignites and suppor
6、ts combustion. 5. Remove the flame and observe whether the sample burns or smoulders after removal of the flame and record findings as required by the material standard.
