Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % re
4、lative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Stabilize the valve stem seals at temperature specified in the Engineering Drawing or specification. 2. Remove existing striking bit on end of the arm and replace it

Install valve stem seal in Fixture B, C and D with the minor diameter facing the striker arm. Installation torque must be .03 Nm. 4. Ins
6、tall Fixture B, C, and D and sample in the machine holding jaw. 5. Set Charpy Izod dial to 100 range and install weights marked 100. 6. Trip arm and record impact values.
