REQUIREMENTSThe ma terial shall be conditioned for a minimum of 24 hours at 20 +/- 2 Cand 65 +/- 3 % relative humidity prior to test.3.1 CONSTRUCTIONThis ma terial consists of a bitumen and/or plastic based flexiblehea vy layer and a non-woven

7、pad after separation.Test Method:1) Cut 5 specimens 200 x 200 mm from material under test anddetermine weight and thickness per specimen.2) Ply-up and cover with an aluminum plate of same size.3) Load with a dead weight equalling a ply-up height of 500 mm minusweight of five specimens and cover plat
8、e.4) Expose assembly in a mechanical convection oven maintained at atemperature of 50 +/- 2 C for 2 weeks. Co ol to room temperature,remove weight and cover plate and examine as described above.3.8 SPLITTING RESISTANCE (Fiber Pad), min 2 kN/m2Test Method: (See Figure 2)1) Three test specimens 100 x
9、100 mm shall be bonded to two specimenholders each (see Figure 1) and conditioned for 24 hours at roomtemperature (use adhesive S-M2G4610-A or equivalent).2) Determine splitti ng resistance in a tensile testing machine at arate of pull of 25 mm/minute.3.9 HEAT RESISTANCENo se paration between fiber

13、padding soakedwith distilled water in a beaker glass of one liter capacity andcover tightly with a lid. Maintain assembly at a temperature of 35+/- 2 C for 14 days. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by aqualified and authorized representative of the test faci lity, demonstratingful l compliance with all the re
28、quirements of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), the material designation a nd code number, andtes t specimens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of amateri al will be based on its performance to this specification and on anassessment of suitability for intended proce
