SCOPE The material described by this specification is a fluoroelastomer compound with good long-term resistance to hot air and hot oil up to 175 C and can withstand peak temperatures up to 210 C. The material has excellent resistance to comp

3、ressive stress relaxation at temperatures up to 175 C. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a Rocker Cover Seal mounted on a metal carrier. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform

4、to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MATERIAL TESTING 3.4.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Whenever possible, all test specimens shall be die-cut from the finished parts. When not feasible, specimens cut from molded test sheets manufactured from the sam

5、e material and with equivalent state of cure to molded parts are recommended. 13、force (Fo) after 30 minutes at 23 +/- 2 C. Age at 175 +/- 2 C and take back-force (Ft) measurements at 23 +/- 2 C after 24, 48, 96, 168 h and thereafter every 168 h until a total elapsed test time of 1000 h has been completed. 14、ED PART 3.11.1 Compression Burst No splits or cracks in any of the samples Test Method: Cut four 25 mm sections of metal carrier with seal attached from a complete gasket and compress between metal plates to the thickness of the carrier. Age for 24 hours at 210 C, cool, release compression and examine the rubber for splits and cracks. 5.
