3、y this specification is a well-refined unleaded gasoline. 2 APPLICATION This specification was released originally for gasoline used for initial fill in North America. 3 REQUIREMENTS These materials must meet the most recently approved requirements of ASTM D4814 Standard Specification for Automotive
4、 Spark-Ignition Engine Fuel and/or comply with local, state and regional fuel regulations of plants location, plus the following: 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-
5、M99P1111-A). 3.2 OCTANE 3.2.1 ANTIKNOCK INDEX, (RON + MON)/2, min 87.0 (ASTM D 2699, ASTM D 2700) 3.2.2 RESEARCH OCTANE NUMBER, min 91.0 (ASTM D 2699) 3.6 SULFUR CONTENT, max 80.0 ppm (ASTM D 5453) 3.8 FERROUS CORROSION (ASTM D 665, Procedure A at 4 hr.), min B+ 3.9 OXIDATION STABILITY, min 900 minu

8、ercial additives at concentrations representative of good commercial practice in the receiving locale (unless otherwise specified). Metallic additives, including lead, manganese and phosphorus are not allowed. Use of oxygenate additives other than ethanol must be approved by Fuels and Lubricants Eng
9、ineering. Supplier must identify additive formulation which includes additive type and concentration on specification supplement. 3.18 CERTIFICATION Supplier shall certify that the gasoline is a formulation that meets Ford Motor Company requirements as stated in these specifications. Technical evide
10、nce of these data and manufacturing limits must be summarized as specified on the specification supplement. This certification shall be given by the authorized supplier representative and submitted to Ford Fuels and Lubricants Engineering activity for approval. Ford Fuels and Lubricants Engineering
11、may request additional data from supplier as needed to confirm conformance to specification. 4. GENERAL INFORMATION: The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 4.1 FLAMMABILITY This material represents a potential fire
12、hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department shall notify both the Plant Security and the Safety Units of its presence in the Plant to assure that proper fire precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications. 4.2 SAMPLING AND SUBMISSION
