2、is specification defines a reinforced elastomeric hose with a non-barrier layer construction and having a conductive tube that is resistant to diesel fuel and a cover that is heat and ozone resistant. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for diesel fuel filler hose and vent line
3、s. The maximum working pressure should not exceed 104 kPa. Long term continuous operating temperature should not exceed 100 C and maximum intermittent temperature excursions should not exceed 125 C. This construction is not recommended for bio-diesel applications. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specificat
4、ion requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.1 QUALITY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Quality System Requirements. 3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSIS IR spectra and thermograms established for in
5、itial approval shall constitute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at the designated material laboratory. All samples shall produce IR spectra and thermograms that correspond to the reference standard when tested under the same conditions. 3.3 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test
6、values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. 8、 chlorosulphonated polythylene (CPE/CSM). 20、S Materials defined by this specification for direct supply to the Company must have prior approval. Certain materials subcontracted by part suppliers may also require prior approval. These include materials critical to the Companys business for regulatory, safety, environmental or compatibility req
21、uirements or contractual agreements. Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from Purchasing, Design or Materials Engineering activity. Upon request, the Supplier shall submit a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of this specification. 5.
