SCOPE This standard specifies wear resistant alloyed grey iron castings used by GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology Company(hereinafter referred to as the “GMDAT“). 2. TYPE AND USE Table 1. Brinell hardness (HB, F=30D2) Values resulting from the test performed to the standard part or the part specified in the drawing with a ball of 5 shall satisfy the following values. FCW 260 : 262311 FCW 270 : 270380 3.2.2. Hardenability : When oil quenching at 850
6、, shall have the following surface hardness. FCW 260 : 48 HRC min. FCW 270 : 5664 HRC 3.3. Microstructure 3.3.1. Carbides on the wearing surface shall be in one direction (longitudinal axis vertical to the surface.) 3.4. Appearance 3.4.1. Dimensions of castings shall satisfy the specification in the drawing. 3

The surface of castings shall be free from molding and sand and such defects as crack, intrusion of casting sand and slag, blowhole, shrinkage hole that may cause harm during, machining and use. And it shall be machined well as not hardened. 4. NOTE Samples of materials released to this standa
9、rd shall be approved by GMDAT Technical center prior to commencement of delivery f bulk supplies. In the event of any intentional deviations from this standard, it is the sole responsibility of the supplier to inform the purchaser of all such deviations. Furthermore the supplier shall submit unsolic
10、ited samples for reapproval by GMDAT Technical center prior to commencement of bulk supplies. 5. TEST 5.1. All tests shall be performed at 235 5.2.
