3、OSE This standard regulates durability test method for STEERING KNUCKLE ASSEMBLY 2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION This standard is applied to the car model, LANOS 3. Terms 3.1. PROBABILITY OF SURVIVAL It is an evaluation standard of the expectation of the products CYCLE TO FAILURE (CTF) and it means the perc
4、entage that a product of the mother group will survive R% at an optional point of time. It is indicated by the ratio of Pu10 and Pu90. 4. TEST EQUIPMENT 4.1. HYDRAULIC FATIGUE TEST MACHINE (HFT) Equipment that can control the load and FREQUENCY according to the test conditions. It includes following
5、 equipment. 4.1.1. HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR 4.1.2. LOAD CELL 4.1.3. LOAD CONTROL UNIT 4.1.4. OSCILLOSCOPE 4.1.5. PRESELECT CYCLE COUNTER 4.2. TEST FIXTURE & ACCESSORIES 4.2.1. TEST FIXTURE Equipment that can fix, support the test sample as designated in the drawing. 4.2.2. ACCESSORIES Actual car accessori
6、es required for the test, such as HUB-FRT, BEARING and BALL STUD 4.3. Number of the test samples The sufficient number of the test samples required to evaluate the durability life span is not less than 4 samples. 5. LONGITUDINAL FORCE (F5) 5.2. Installing the test sample 5.2.1. The test sample shall be installed to the test equipmen
10、t according to the installation DIMENSION designated in the test standard drawing. 5.2.2. When installing test samples, use actual car components and apply actual car installation conditions. 5.3. Test Conditions The direction and the size of the load and the FREQUENCY shall be according to the spec
11、ification of the drawing. 5.4. Inspection and record of the existence of the CRACK 5.4.1. If the crack which can be seen with bare eyes has occurred on the test sample, record the CYCLE, position of the crack and the length. (Form1, CHECK SHEET) 5.4.2. After it proceed up to 7080% of the CYCLE(herei
12、nafter the BOGY CYCLE) specified in the drawing, make record of the existence of the crack and make record in the CHECK SHEET using this 3 X 104cycle as an unit. Also, record the existence of the crack for every multiple of the BOGY CYCLE. 5.5. End of the test 5.5.1. End the test when the crack on t
13、he surface of the test sample proceeds more than 1015mm. 5.5.2. Except for the case when further testing is difficult due to crack and breakage of the test sample, perform the test until “BOGY CYCLE X DISPERSION” and then terminate the test. After the test, where inspecting the existence of the CRAC
14、K with bare eyes is impossible, use micro check or magnetic particle testing for inspection. 6. Evaluation Method Use survival probability evaluation method using Form 2.
