This standard aims at specifying the method of measuring resistance to abrasion by sand of mirrors in automobiles for observing by the driver of the area around the

4、vehicle or the rear view. 1.2 Applicability. This standard applies to mirrors for automobiles, which are classified into the inside mirror, outside mirror and under mirror according to attached positions or purpose of use. The abrasion resistance test applies to all these mirror types. 2 References

10、sed more than 100 times. 3.3 Test Piece. The mirror piece is detached from the mirror assembly to be mounted inclined on the abrasion resistance test equipment.
