3、pecifies to examine the durability of the laminated glass exposed to high temperature over an extended period of time. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the safety glass (laminated glass with a high molecular film) for the front glass of automobiles 3. EQUIPMENT 3.1. Oven : two oven, Preheating oven
4、 of 66 L, Scalding tank of 100 .5k 3.2. Supporter of the specimen. 4. TEST PIECE (SPECIMENS) Flat laminated glass measuring approx. 300300mm manufactured by the same process as that for the product or laminated glass measuring approx. 300300mm cut of a product shall be furnished to the test. 5. PROC
5、EDURE 5.1. Mount the specimens on the supporter 5.2. The specimens may be preheated to avoid undue thermal shock into preheating oven at 66 5.3. Immerse the specimens into the scalding oven and hold it at 100 for 2 hours. 5.4. Take out the specimen, and examine the condition of bubbles or other defe
6、cts. 6. RESULT OF TEST Three specimens shall be tested by the high temperature test, and all the specimens shall satisfy the requirements specified in Table 1. If one or no specimen satisfies the requirements, the results of the test shall be rejected. If two specimens satisfy the requirements, furt
7、her three specimens shall newly be re-tested. And if all the new specimens satisfy the requirements given in Table 1, the safety glass shall be acceptable. 8、EWOO Auto & Technology Table 1 Type Condition after high temperature resistance test Laminated glass It is permitted for the specimen to bring forth cracks, but neither bubbles nor other defects shall be found beyond 15mm from the edges or beyond 10mm from any cracks. Where a specimen made by cutting out of a product is tested, bubbles or other defects are permissible to be within 25mm from the newly made edges. 7.
