3、 GMW14365. 1. PURPOSE This procedure verifies durability of the seat cushion against vibration fatigue generated from seated passenger on the seat during travelling a vehicle. 2. SCOPE All types of seats 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new assembled seats 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. BIW (Body in Wh
4、ite) or jig for fitting seats in vehicle conditions 4.2. Vibration durability tester 4.3. SAE 3DM Cushion pan (68 kg) 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Test Method 5.1.1. Fit the BIW or the seat-fixing jig on the vibration tester, and then mount a seat on the jig. 5.1.2. Fit the cushion pan
5、 on the seat back in such a way that the pan touches the surface of the seat back as shown in fig. 1. 5.1.3. Set the adjuster systems of the seat as follows: (1) Guide rail: Rearmost position (2) Height adjuster system: The weakest position (3) Other adjuster systems: Positions specified in the desi
6、gn standard 5.1.4. Vibrate the vibration table in up/down direction with 4 Hz sine wave, and measure the acceleration of the cushion pan (peak to peak). 5.1.5. Draw the acceleration of the cushion fan in graphs, and obtain the acceleration of the cushion pan (peak to peak) at 1.62 G to determine the
7、 acceleration of vibration table. 5.1.6. Repeat the durability tests in accordance with the types and the purpose of the seats for cycles specified in table 1. 8、SION: 3 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology 5.1.7. If it is impossible to perform the vibration at 4 Hz, perform the test with the acceleration of the cushion pan (peak to peak) at 1.62 between 3 and 4 Hz. The seat cushion shall be free of wrinkle after the durability test (The subcontractor shall obtain approval from the car manufacturer for this with photographs or actual samples). 5.2.2. The seat shall be free of abnormal noise during and after the test. 5.2.3. The spring and the seam shall be free of severance, the clip of dislocation, and the trim of damage after the test. 5.2.4. The displacement of the hip point shall be smaller than 15 mm after the test.
