Design: Tapered in width and thickneas at least one-third of the cut length from the point. Double-cut on all surfaces (two sets of parallel cuts on the
3、 surface, one set crossing the other). Furnished in bastard-cut, second-cut, or smooth-cut as shown in table. Tang: Of a conventional shape and size suitable for attachment to a .wood handle. Tempered to a maximum hardness of 45 on the Rock- well C scale at a point apprQximately midway of its length
4、 and width. Teeth: Uniformly out or etched and of uniform height throughout the fully cut portion. Cutting surfaces hardened to a uniform hardness.
