1、A-A-7 O 6 April 15, 1981 COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION STORAGE CABINETS FOR FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in lieu of Federal Supply Schedule Group 71, Part XXV. This commercial item description covers -flammable liquids
2、 storage cabinets. Salient characteristics: The cabinets shall comply with National Fire Protection Associations, (NFPA) Combustible Liquids Code No. 30, and meet current OSHA safety requirements. Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics
3、of this description, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings; specifi- cations, standards and quality assurance practices, and is the same product sold in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery an
4、d thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. Regulatory materials. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable. Packaging, packing, and marking. The items shall be packaged in accordance with normal commercial practice a
5、nd packed to assure acceptance by common carrier and provideproduct protection against loss and damage during multiple shipments, handling, and storage. The shipping container shall be in compliance with National Motor Freight Classification and Uniform Freight Classification. Shipping containers sh
6、all be marked as specified in the contract or order. Note. - Purchasers should specify the type, model, and capacity.
