The Air Navigation Commission, at the fifth meeting of its 163rd Session on 1 May 2003, under the authority delegated by the Council, took action on the recommendations of the fourteenth me
18、eting of the Visual Aids Panel (VAP/14), as indicated hereunder. 2. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AMENDMENT OF STANDARDS AND RECOMMENDED PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES (RSPP) 2.1 Recommendation 1/1, page 1-12 Recommendation 3/1, page 3-8 Recommendation 4/1, page 4-4 Recommendation 5/1, page 5-4 Recommendation 7/1,
19、page 7-5 Recommendation 8/1, page 8-12 2.2 The Air Navigation Commission made a preliminary review of the above recommendations, and agreed that they should be referred for comments to Contracting States and appropriate international organizations, together with the Commissions own comments and prop
20、osals thereon. Following receipt of comments, the Commission will conduct a detailed review and will then present its recommendations for action by the Council. 3. There have been a number of changes in the membership of the panel since your last meeting. I ext
49、end a special welcome to the new members. Since your last meeting in June 1997, the Air Navigation Commission has progressed a number of issues in your area of expertise.
