4、0 APPLICATION This specification covers the requirements for a semi-rigid, laminated fiberboard suitable for chemically bonded headlining panels. 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers the general requirements, property and performance requirements and quality. 3.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Unless otherwise

5、specified the latest issue of all referenced standards shall apply. The following Specifications, Standards, and Regulations are referenced in this specification. Quality System Standard QS-9000 (ISO 9000 or TS-16949) CFR 29, Part 1910 INTERNATIONAL IQR Quality Standard CFR 49, Part 571.302 INTERNAT

6、IONAL Manufacturing Standard D-13 ASTM D 3884 INTERNATIONAL TMS-9544 ASTM G 53 SAE J 315 CEMS GT-31 4.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 4.1 Construction This board shall be a laminated core of kraft and other fibers which have been sized to minimize edge wicking and warp. Each side shall be covered with a natu

7、ral virgin kraft liner, which is laminated to the core with a 0.03 mm (0.001 in) continuous film of polyethylene to form a moisture barrier. 4.2 Finish Thickness 2.03 mm (0.080 in) 5% 4.3 Facing Material Corporate Technical Standards. 9、rty And Performance Requirements Unless otherwise indicated, material testing shall be in accordance with SAE J315 - Fiberboard Test Procedure. 4.4.1 Moisture Content 4.5-7.0% 4.4.2 Bursting Strength: Mullen Burst 1890 N (425 lbf) minimum. 4.4.3 Water Absorption: 15 x 15 cm (6 x 6 in) Sample 2-1/2 h

11、.7 Accelerated Weathering (primary exposed cosmetic surface only) 4.4.7.1 Method: Method A - Xenon per CEMS GT-31, minimum of 1200 kj. 4.4.7.2 Required: There shall be no signs of visible color change greater than E of 3, decreased pliability, or tackiness, and material shall be equivalent to that o

12、f the approved master sample in Industrial Design Department at TDTC. 4.4.8 Abrasion Resistance - ASTM D-3884 Rotary Platform Double Head Method Using a CS-10 abrasion wheel with 500-gram load for 50 cycles, sample shall not display wear exceeding that of the approved master sample in the Industrial

13、 Design Department at TDTC. 4.9 Flammability Resistance Material and parts supplied to this specification shall conform to and be certified by the suppliers to meet the requirements of the of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard #302 - Flammability of Interior Materials (CFR 49, Part 571.302) a

14、nd TMS-9544. 5.0 QUALITY The material shall be free from objectionable odor, have necessary flexibility to meet contour requirements, be adequately bonded to prevent separation and be uniform in thickness. 5.1 Primary cosmetic vinyl surfaces shall be free from voids, bumps, dimples, cuts, wrinkles,

15、and bubbles. 17、 or imperfections detrimental to strength, fit, function, or service life. 6.0 SOURCE APPROVAL AND QUALITY CONTROL 6.1 Supplier Requirements All suppliers to INTERNATIONAL Truck and Engine are required to be registered to QS-9000 Quality System Requirements. INTERNATIONAL will also accept ISO 9000 o

18、r TS-16949 registration as long as the supplier can also fulfill all AIAG PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and approval requirements. Suppliers must maintain their certification with an accredited registrar and must furnish copies of registration certificates to the INTERNATIONA

19、L Corporate Buyer upon request. 6.2 Approval Parts supplied against contracts or purchase orders citing this specification shall be equivalent in all respects to those samples which were approved by the purchaser. No changes in formulation or processing practices are permitted without approval. In t

20、he event that changes in material, properties, processing practices, construction, color, or labeling of the product are required, the supplier shall notify Materials Engineering at TDTC and Purchasing and Supplier Development of the proposed change(s). Test data indicating conformance to all requir

21、ements of this specification, test samples, and new or amended or updated Material Safety Data Sheet(s) (MSDS), in accordance with CFR Title 29, Part 1910 shall be submitted with the request for change. 6.3 Process Control The supplier shall either perform and report results of tests on specific lot

22、s of parts produced or provide statistical evidence of the lot having been produced in a state of statistical control and with a process capable of providing all required properties. The part supplier and the plant metallurgist and/or the quality control manager of the using International plant may
