REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Description. The Detecting Set, Intrusion,

8、AN/PSR-lA, is a seismic warning system which detects enemy approach by electronically monitoring elastic waves propagated through the earth as a result of footsteps or vehicle passage. The detecting set shall consist of the following: Control Set Seismometers Headset Ground Rod Carrying Case 2 Provi

Unless otherwise specified (see 6-21, prior to submission of any complete production items for acceptance, the contractor shall furnish

10、 two first articles for determination of conformance to this specification. Examination and tests shall be those specified herein. Approval of the first articles bythe procuring activity shall not relieve the contractor 02 his obligation to supply detecting sets conforming to this specification. Any

11、 changes or deviations of the production items from the first articles shall be subject to the approval of the contracting officer. The first articles shall not be included in the quantity to be delivered to the Government. 3.3 Parts, materials and processes. In addition to the requirements or this

12、specification, the parts, materials and processes shall be identical or equal, whenever possible, to those specified in Drawing No. 5133-000-0001. 3.3.1 Printed circuit boards. Where laminated thermo- setting plastic is used for insulation, the following materials are preferred: (a) Melamine glass,

13、or equal, in accordance with type GMG of MIL-P-15037. (b) Silicone glass, in accordance with type GFG of MIL-P-997. (c) Phenolic nylon fabric, in accordance with type NPG of MIL-P-15047 for applicazions where ambient temperatures do not exceed +75 Centigrade (CI. 3.3.2 Sealinq and insulatinq compoun

No unit or part shall use wax or other sealing compound which will flow at a temperature of +75O C unless the said compounds are contained in such a manner that they will not flow from the container when the equipment is in use, nor shall such compunds be used which will crack at temperatures bet

The seismometer shall be a Hall-Sears Type HS-1, or equal. The seismometer shall be enclos

16、ed in an anodized aluminum case,.complete with 2-inch, S-37 aluminum spike, single lead cap, 18-inch leads with alligator clips and stress ring. The clip leads shall be capable of securely gripping 18- to 20-gage wire or standard combat wire (WD-l/TT) . 3.4.1.1 Sensitivity. The seismmeter sensitivit

17、y shall be 0.4 volt per inch par second with a coil resistance of 215 ohms and a 330-ohm damping resistor. 3.4.1.2 Resonant frequency. The resonant frequency of the seismometer shall be 20 hertz (Hz). 3.4.2 Control set. The control set shall conform to the requirements specified herein and shall be

18、identical to the control set in the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12). 3.4.2.1 Case, control set. The control set shall be housed in a dustproof and watertight case identical to the case in the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12). housing and electronic chassis shall

23、 Hz falling 18 dB/octave on the high frequency side . (c) Noise - The noise shall not exceed 0.25 microvolts root mean square (uvrms) referred to input. (d) Input impedance - 8.3 henrys shunted by 5000 ohms resistive. (e) Minimum detectable signal - The minimum detectable signal shall be 0.4 uvrms.

24、(f) Audio Output - The minimum audio output shall be 35 milliwatts. 3.4.3 Carrvinq case. The carrying case shall be a two- compartment canvas bag and shall be identical to the carrying case used in the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12). 3.4.4 Headset. The headset shall conform to th

25、e one used in the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12) . 3.4.5 Ground rod. The ground rod shall be a metallic conductive spike with insulated lead and shall conform to the ground rod used in the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12). The heel plate shall be brazed or welde

26、d to the spike to assure integrity of the assembly. To the extent possible and consistent with the requirements of this specification, the require- ments of MIL-E-16400 shall apply. 3.5.2 Phvsical construction. Physical configuration of the equipment shall con

28、form to the requirements specified herein and the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12) . 3.5.3 Features. The equipment shall incorporate all functional features specified herein and on the two Government furnished detecting sets (see 3.12). 3.6 Performance. Performance of the equiprnen

29、t shall conform to the performance characteristics specified herein or in the contract schedule. 3.6.1 Svsteni operatina requirements: The entire system shall be capable of meeting the following requirements: (a) Range of Detection - 30 yards in all directions from each seismometer. (b) Control Set

30、Location - 1 mile from each seismomster with no degradation in signal. (c) Meter Circuit - Capable of checking battery voltage and open, normal and shorted lines to the seismometers. 3.6.2 Service conditions. The equipment shall be designed and constructed to operate continuously under any natural-c

The equipment shall be designed and constructed to meet the minimum performance require- ments when exposed to the following environmental conditions: Ambient Temperature Range -2OOC to +7OoC (See 4.2.3.1 and

33、 4.2.3.2) Ambient Humidity Range O to 100 percent relative (See 4 . 2 . 3 . 10) Altitude See 4.2.3.3 Water Immersion See 4.2.3.4 Dust See 4.2.3.5 Shock See 4.2.3.6 Vibration See 4.2.3.7 Rain See 4.2.3.8 Fungus See 4.2.3.10 3.6.2.1.2 Non-operatinq. The equipment shall be capable of being stored in an

37、 (MC) 3.10 Finish and color. In accordance with MIL-T-704, all type I surfaces shall be treated and painted with paint conforming to TT-E-485 and type II surfaces need not be painted. The color of all exposed surfaces, including the carrying case, shall match Marine Corps green, number 23 (see 6.3).

38、 3.11 Markinq. 3.11.1 General. Front panel marking shall be group 1 3.11.2 Visibility. Wherever practicable, parts shall be so mounted that their identification markings will be readily visible with minimum disassembly of the equipment. 3.11.3 Serial numbers. The control set shall have a as describe

39、d in MIL-M-13231. serial number as required by MIL-E-21981. The serial numbers will be assigned by the contracting officer. 3.11.4 Nameplate and instruction plate. Nameplate and 3.12 Government-furnished property. Two (2) Detecting instruction plate shall be in accordance with MIL-P-15024. Sets, Int

40、rusion, AN/PSR-lA, will be furnished to the contractor for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with 3.7. 3.13 Workmanship. The equipment covered by this specification, including all parts and accessories, shall be manufactured in accordance with MIL-E-16400 and the two Government furnished detec

41、ting sets (see 3.12) utilizing MIL-STD-454 as a guide. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherw

43、isapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.2 Inspection and tests. Inspection and tests shall consis

44、t of all inspections and tests specified herein to demonstrate that the equipment submitted for approval meets the requirements of this specification. First article inspection and testing shall be witnessed by a representative of the contracting officer. Table I lists the inspection and tests requir

45、ed for first article, sample and production inspection and testing. 4.2.1 Inspection and test procedures. The detailed procedures for conducting inspections and tests shall be prepared by the contractor and submitted to the procuring activity for- review and approval. 4.2.2 Quantities to be inspecte

46、d and tested. Equipment to be tested shall be in the quantities indicated below: (a) First Article - Two equipments shall be used to conduct these inspections and tests. (b) Production - All equipments shall be subjected to these inspections and tests. (c) Sample - Equipments shall be selected in ac

47、cor- dance with MIL-STD-105 with an AQL of 1.0 percent and Inspection Level II, normal inspzction. 4.2.3 Environmental tests. All environmental tests shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-810 as specified herein. Standard conditions shall be as specified in closely controlled conditions in M

48、IL-STD-810.
