REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Preproduction - This specification makes provisions for preproduction testing 3.2 Parts and Materials - In the selection of part

14、s and materials, fulfillment of major design objectives shall be the prime consideration. In so doing, the following shall govern: (1) Microelectronic items shall conform to requirements specified herein. (2) Other parts and materials requirements shall conform to Speci fica ti on MIL- E-5400 . (3)

15、Non-repairable subassembl les, as out1 ined in Specification MIL-E-5400, shall be used when -practicable. The general size of the sub- assembly, and the amount of circuitry to be included theretn shall be approved by the procuring activity. Non-repairabqe sub- assemblies must be reliable, (See 6.5,)

19、or maintenance shall be specified in Specification MIL-E-5400. Specific test points and test facilities shall be provided to the greatest extent practicable for ease of field testing and maintenance. 3.3.8 Nomencl ature and Namepl ates - Nomencl ature and serial number assignment, nameplate approval

Sonar AN/AQS-l3A shall meet the shock requirements of MIL-E-19400 except

23、 for the Reeling Machine, Cable, Hydraulic; Cable Assembly and Reel; Transducer, Sonar; and Housing, Transducer. a sonar cable, which will be inserted through the wiper assembly of the transducer housing, and shall have attached the transducer suspended from the reeling machine in the normal seated

31、.12.2 Underfrequency Protection - The AN/AQS-l3A equipment shall withstand operation at 330 Hertz for 1 minute .and resume normal operation when the power returns within proper limits. 3.3.1 2.3 Electrical Input Power Utilization - The AN/AQS-l3A equipment shall uti li ze 11 5/200V, 400 Hertz power

32、excl usi vely , except for 28 V DC. The 28 V DC shall be used for operation of the reeling machines emergency motor, intermediate speed valve, sonar cable gui1 lotine and for illumination of the Indicator, Bearing and Range and the Reeling Machine, Cab1 e, Hydraul i c. 3.3,12.4 Electrical Input Powe

33、r Connection - Input con- nections shall be in accordance with 1625245 3.3,13 Standby Provisions - The equipment shall provide for a standby position whereby rated voltage shall be applied to the fol- lowing components : reference voltage for the servo systems, pi lots and sonar operators indi - cat

34、ion of drift sensing, reeling machine, transmitter, time delay circuit, frequency processor, and recorder. In addition, the recorder shall have an independent standby position to al low for chart movement. vacuum tube fi 1 aments, blowers, DC re1 ay supplies, 3.3.1 3.1 Separate Systems - The followi

35、ng circuits of the AN/AQS-l3A do not receive their power from the AN/AQS-l3A and may be turned on or off at any time by the pilot. Sonar guillotine, AC drift sensing and hei gh t-depth system for the automatic hover system. 3.3.14 Hydraul i c Power Requirements - Hydraul requirements for the reeling

36、 machine shall be a flow rate of 5.6 at 2550 PSI pressure. Operation of the reeling machine wiP1 not affected at the maximum flow rate of 5.7 GPM and at a pressure o The aircraft return line pressure at 5.6 GPM shall not exceed 25 at 0.0 GPM it shall not exceed 4 PSI. c power - tO.1 GPM be adversely

39、d objects. The sonar transducer shall be lowered from the aircraft into the water to any depth allowed by the maximum cable length. In the active mode, there shall be three selectable active frequencies to prevent interference from adjacent sonars. Provision shall be made for trans- mission and rece

40、ption of CW communication signals on any of the specified operating frequencies and single sideband voice communication signals on a suppressed. carrier frequency of 8.0875 kHz. In the active mode, provisions shall be made for listening to the returning echoes from selected targets. In the passive m

41、ode, provisions shall be made for listening to signal sources from. any bearing , wi thout transmi tti ng. Provi si ons shall be made for limiting the area searched in order to facilitate tracking of targets. A graphic recorder shall be provided for displaying bathythermograph, range and ASPECT clas

42、sification information. Moving target detection capability shall be provided. Position sensing information from the sonar cable and * transducer shall be provided for the aircraft automatic hovering system. A complete Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) capability shall be provided for the purpose of pre

43、flight and inflight performance verification of the AN/AQS-l3A sonar system. These performance checks chal 1 be accomplished without external test equipment. A graphic recorder shall be provided for displaying bathythermograph, range, ASPECT classification data, and MAD magnetic anomaly traces . Ope
